Dedication

                     Else Cook

Else Cook joined the 4-Leaf Clover Club with Hazel Goodwin as a co leader in 1974. They had 20 to 25 members in a “general” club. A general club allows participants to pursue their interests and projects centered on the Community needs. She completed 50 years of service as of October and is still going strong.

Mike Cook, Donna Flint and Else Cook started the museum around 2000 in the old horse barn with donations from other 4-H leaders and community members. As the fair has grown the museum has evolved and moved into its current location.

Else has been involved in her community as a member of the Shapleigh Fire Department Auxiliary and Rescue Squad. She has been a ballot clerk. Thank you for your service to the Fair and your community.
